Rector of a university in China: 90% of students who drop out every year do this because of excessive passion for games

On August 29, the head of the Chinese University of Jiliang addressed the first-year students. In his speech, he compared games with drugs and stated that students who decided to drop out because of games are unworthy of sympathy.

His statement led to heated discussions in Chinese social networks. In particular, many noted that the rector handled statistics incorrectly and the reasons for the deductions could be different.
