Sony has allocated $3 million for scholarships to "underrepresented" Americans interested in game development
The company transferred the money to the Gerald Lawson Charitable Foundation at the University of Southern California. More than 60 university students will be able to receive a scholarship.
Sony also announced a partnership with the UNCF Foundation. Together they launched a $2 million scholarship program for students from historically black higher education institutions in the United States.
