Media: Tencent plans to sell assets worth $14.5 billion in a year
Tencent has decided to get rid of the shares of inefficient companies due to growing pressure from the Chinese authorities and investors, the Financial Times reports.
The tech giant has not yet decided which specific assets to sell and at what price. Note that in January, Tencent sold shares of Sea, the parent company of the creators of Free Fire, for $ 3 billion.
