Sony may start buying mobile studios. This is hinted at by one of the vacancies of the company
The PlayStation mobile division is looking for a senior business development director. According to the text of the vacancy, the new person, among other things, will have to look for companies that will then become part of Sony or become its partners.
Sony started actively hiring employees in the mobile division a little over a year ago. Since then, Kabam, Zynga, Electronic Arts and Tencent veterans have joined her. In addition, Sony announced in May that by 2025, half of its game releases will be on smartphones and PCs.
