Racist insults and death threats — court materials on the Bungie case surfaced online
In mid-July, Bungie filed a lawsuit against streamer Luca Leone, who threatened studio employees. The Canadian court probably helped to find out his identity, which a month before demanded that the TextNow provider disclose the data of an anonymous attacker/intruders.
The Canadian court’s ruling also lists threats received by Bungie employees. In short: the attackers sent messages to personal phone numbers with racist and homophobic insults, blackmailed them by knowing the addresses of employees, and hinted at the possibility of murder.
