DDoS-Guard: in the first half of 2022, the number of cyber attacks on gaming resources in Russia has tripled
This is reported by the Kommersant newspaper, which has read the DDoS-Guard report. According to him, in January-June 2022, hackers attacked gaming resources * in Russia 6.2 thousand times. For comparison: at the same time last year, only 1.9 thousand cyber attacks were recorded.
DDoS-Guard did not name specific reasons for the cyberattacks, but noted that hackers may be interested in user data and valuable in-game items.
