The former game director of The Last of Us founded his own game studio
In 2017, Bruce Straley, game director of The Last of Us and Uncharted 2.4, retired from the gaming industry. Five years later, he decided to return and announced the launch of a new studio — Wildflower Interactive.
The studio team was joined by developers Call of Duty, Astroneer, abzÛ, Kena: Bridge of Spirits and The Pathless. Under the guidance of Straily, they are going to make small and at the same time “creatively charged and uniquely stylized” games.
Wildflower Interactive has already started working on the first game. She also found a partner who will help reach the “widest possible” audience.
