Genshin Impact is the most discussed game of the half—year on Twitter. Elden Ring is only in seventh place
In the first half of 2022, Twitter users wrote more about video games than ever before. By the end of June, they had left a record 1.5 billion tweets, which is 36% more than in the first half of last year. Such statistics were shared by Twitter itself.
The impetus was the release of the Elden Ring, presentations like Summer Game Fest, as well as a number of esports competitions.
Most often, users mentioned Genshin Impact, Wordle and Ensemble Stars in tweets. The residents of Japan, the USA and South Korea spoke most actively about the games.
