Media: Tencent and miHoYo have applied to join the gaming Association of South Korea
According to GameLook, the South Korean “daughters” of Tencent and miHoYo have decided to officially join the local gaming association. If their applications are approved, the companies will become one of the few foreign members.
Now the association includes Riot Games, Activision Blizzard, Epic Games, CCP Games and Wargaming.
According to AppMagic, to date, Genshin Impact from miHoYo has earned more than $163.7 million in the App Store and Google Play in South Korea (6.3% of the global revenue of the game). The service does not share information on the South Korean earnings of Honor of Kings, the main hit of Tencent.
