Another YouTuber decided to remove all soundtracks from Nintendo games from the channel after 500 DMCA complaints

Nintendo’s lawyers are closely monitoring the company’s copyright compliance. The creator of the YouTube channel DeoxysPrime, specializing in game soundtracks, complained that he had received more than 500 complaints from a Japanese publisher over the past week. Nintendo also blocked “dozens” of his videos.

“Obviously, Nintendo doesn’t want her music on YouTube,” DeoxysPrime wrote on Twitter. The YouTuber said he would immediately remove the controversial soundtracks, and added that he “doesn’t have much choice.”

Nintendo regularly forces YouTubers to get rid of music belonging to it. One of the last high-profile cases was in February. Then the user GilvaSunner completely deleted his channel due to the fact that the company sent him over 3,500 strikes.
