55% of Russians regularly play video games. Most often in mobile
This is reported by Vedomosti with reference to the Mediascope report. According to journalists, in their research, the company looked at the preferences of Russians aged 12-64 years.
What other conclusions did Mediascope come to:
▪69% of the country’s residents play video games at least sometimes;
▪42% of domestic gamers play on smartphones. Another 33% choose PC games, and 9% play on consoles;
▪Games are one of the most popular categories among mobile apps in the country. They account for 15% of the time that Russians spend using smartphones. Video resources have the same share. Only social networks have more — 29%;
▪40% of smartphone owners log in to at least one game every day.
