The Information: The US Federal Trade Commission decided to check the deal between Sony and Bungie

At the end of January, Sony announced that it was going to buy Bungie for $3.6 billion. Almost four months after that, the US Federal Trade Commission became interested in the deal, sources tell The Information.

According to analyst Daniel Ahmad, the agency is unlikely to interfere with the takeover. Perhaps, in principle, it has begun to treat M&A more strictly and will now check more transactions.
