Activision Blizzard shareholders approve "golden parachutes" for top managers of the company

Activision Blizzard held two important votes yesterday. On one, shareholders evaluated the deal with Microsoft (98% supported it as a result), and on the other, the need for large payments by the company’s top managers if they were fired after the merger.

A representative of Activision Blizzard told Axios that the majority of shareholders supported the golden parachutes. However, approximately 33% of those who voted were against them.

In winter, the media reported that if CEO Bobby Kotick was fired, he would be able to claim a payment of $292.97 million.
