Epic Games Store allowed developers to self-publish games in the store
On March 9, Epic Games introduced a set of publishing tools that are available to all owners of the developer account. However, each game must meet the following requirements:
▪️support crossplay with other PC stores (relevant for multiplayer projects);
▪️Maintain the achievement system;
▪️get an age rating (in EGS developers can use the IARC system for free);
▪️do not contain discriminatory, illegal, pornographic and fraudulent content, as well as content that violates someone else’s intellectual property;
▪️be fully functioning and meet the EGS quality criteria.
To publish the game, you will also need to pay a standard fee of $ 100. The Epic Games Store commission from each sale remains unchanged — 12%.
