Gaming companies planted almost 2.5 million trees as part of Green Game Jam 2022
Last year, gaming companies around the world actively greened the planet. The organizers of Green Game Jam 2022 announced that 2.48 million trees were planted as part of their event alone.
A total of 42 companies participated in Green Game Jam 2022, including Tencent, Ubisoft, Bandai Namco and Supercell. The organizers’ report does not specify how many trees each particular company planted.
Earlier we wrote that Wooga studio planted at least 200 thousand trees during the event, and Pixel Federation — 86 thousand trees.
