Cygames will start paying $740 a month to Japanese students who want to become game developers
Japanese developer and publisher Cygames wants to attract more people to the gaming industry. To do this, the company has launched a scholarship program.
Cygames has announced that her scholarship is for a year. During the year, first- and second-year students studying in video game-related specialties will be able to receive ¥100 thousand ($743.86) each month. In total, 30 people will be able to participate in the program.
In addition to the payments, the company promised to organize internships for students at Cygames. In return, she will demand to report regularly on academic performance at the university.
