People from Blizzard have launched their own studio. They will make an action-RPG
Gas Giant Games is a new studio opened by former Blizzard Entertainment employees. One of its founders was Jay Wilson, who at one time led the work on Diablo III.
Along with him, the founders of Gas Giant Games included Julian Love, a former designer of the Diablo Immortal and Diablo IV combat systems, as well as Dan Kelly, a former senior vice president of business development at THQ. In addition, the studio employs the developers of Gears of War, Cyberpunk 2077, Kingdom Hearts and Company of Heroes.
Now Gas Giant Games is working on an action RPG for PC and consoles. The studio is not ready to make a full-fledged announcement yet, she will tell more about the game at the GDC conference.
