Gaming outsourcer Pole To Win bought 5518 Studio, a company with Russian roots
British Pole To Win, specializing in outsourcing for gaming and technology companies, has acquired 5518 Studio, based in Russia. The latter made art for a lot of high-profile titles. Among them are Spider-Man: Miles Morales, Call of Duty: Black Ops and Fortnite.
Now outsourcers will work under a single brand — 1518 Studios. In addition to them, PTW’s daughter, Indian Orange Rock Studios, also joined the new studio.
1518 Studios will take on several directions at once:
- work on computer graphics;
- game development “from and to”;
- support for game services;
- porting titles to all platforms;
- building up staff.
Combining the forces of PTW & 5518 Studios in the market of a huge and growing gaming industry in order to produce full-cycle projects and increase production. Thanks to the merger of PTW, 5518 and Orange Rock, a new studio 1518 Studios appears (Microsoft did something similar with Bethesda, combining it into Vault), which consolidates the capacities of the USA, CIS and India in one structure. Extremely interesting chemistry turns out.
