The J.J. Abrams company has opened an internal game studio. It was headed by the creator of Left 4 Dead

Director J. J. Abrams (J. J. Abrams) does not give up trying to do games. His film studio Bad Robot Productions has already formed a second gaming division. The place of the head went to Michael Booth, the leading game designer of Left 4 Dead.

The new division of Bad Robot Games Studio is called. His general manager was Michael Booth, who now answers to his colleague from Valve Anna Sweet, the CEO of Abrams’ first game studio Bad Robot Games.

The internal studio opened after the redistribution of responsibilities in Bad Robot Games. If earlier this department led the entire development of games, now it has two directions. One is engaged in the joint production of games with partner studios, and the second is the creation of its own titles. It is the second direction that Bad Robot Games Studio now oversees.

Bad Robot Games Studio has already started working on its debut game. According to Sweet, it will be an original cooperative AAA title for PC and consoles, which will immerse gamers in a “cinematic” atmosphere.

We want to build worlds that we can expand in the future, that we can transfer from media to media. At the same time, the beginning of these worlds can be laid not only in TV series or movies, but also in games. This issue is not so fundamental for us. The main thing that we want is to create worlds that you can believe in, the events in which it is interesting to follow.
