Google will distribute the Stadia Premiere Edition bundle to YouTube Premium subscribers for free
The connection between Google Stadia and YouTube has become even stronger. Now premium subscribers of the video hosting can get the Stadia Premiere Edition bundle for free — it includes a gamepad and a Chromecast Ultra streaming player. But the offer is temporary and does not work for all countries.
YouTube Premium subscribers are no stranger to generous Google Stadia promotions. For example, not so long ago an American company gave some of them a smart Home Mini speaker. This time Google decided to distribute the bundle Stadia Premiere Edition. It costs, by the way, $99.
The bundle includes two devices: the Stadia gamepad and the Chromecast Ultra console. Previously, there were three more months of free subscription to Stadia Pro, but in July they were removed and only 30 trial days were left.
However, the action has several nuances at once:
- it is not suitable for YouTube Premium beginners. The premium subscription must be issued no later than November 6th, 2020;
- by November 29, you also need to have time to buy a subscription to Google Stadia;
- so far, the promotion is only for residents of the USA and the UK. A little later, players from Canada, France, Germany, Italy and Spain will be able to join.
Recall that Google Stadia started working a little more than a year ago — on November 19, 2019. Then the service opened in only 14 countries, but Google promised to expand this list in 2020. Russia has not yet entered it.
