White Nights gathered almost 1400 participants in Amsterdam
On January 23-24, the gaming business conference White Nights Amsterdam 2020 was held in the capital of the Netherlands. It was visited by 1,346 guests from 50 countries.
The event was held in three streams. A total of 69 speakers from key gaming companies spoke at White Nights Amsterdam 2020. Among them:
- Nintendo with a report on how to get on the Switch;
- EA Dice with a talk about prototyping;
- Paradox Interactive, which shared the specifics of its market strategy;
- Playrix with a story about who and how he is ready to invest in;
- as well as MRGV, Wooga, GameRefinery, Wooga, Newzoo and many others.
In addition to the session program, an exhibition of developers was held as part of the conference. It was attended by more than 90 teams from 18 countries, including Greece, India and Hong Kong.
By the way, four projects from the exhibition were analyzed at the Deconstruction Workshop by experts from Wargaming, Chimpworks and Gamebasics. According to the jury, R.A.C.E. (SMOKOKO) was recognized as the best game.

However, the audience award went to another project discussed at deconstruct — the Belarusian title Godlike Burger.

The reaction to the event on social networks is now extremely positive.
For example, the developer of the platformer Through The Nightmares (by the way, he is looking for a publisher) really liked the organization.
We were also pleased with various little things: a good Wi-Fi, a free ticket to Confu. On the second day, I forgot my badge at home in a hurry, they printed me a new one without any problems. According to the organization, @wnconf is the best B2B event I’ve been to so far.

Christian Haja from Seal.Games, in turn, noted the children’s initiative. He liked the idea of the organizers to invite very young developers to the exhibition with their projects.
I do not know much of this initiative @wnconf but I love it. Kidit is a game design competition for kids. The children develop games with Tynker, a coding platform that empowers kids to make games, learn coding or to make websites. ?❤️❤️❤️#kidit #tynker #gamedesign #wnconf pic.twitter.com/KggNNRvRfx

Следующее индустриальное событие от White Nights состоится уже весной. На 27-28 апреля запланирован CEO Summit в Барселоне.
