In 2019, spending by mobile players in Russia amounted to $744 million
In the past year, users’ spending on mobile games in Russia reached $744 million. The leader in revenue was the game “The Great Sultan”.
Data on spending by Russian users was provided by the analytical company App Annie in a comment for App2Top.ru .
In 2019, users spent $1 billion dollars on all mobile applications in Russia. $744 million of them came from mobile games.
It should be noted that in 2018, the total spending of Russians on mobile games amounted to $ 517 million. That is $227 million less than in 2019.
Top games of 2019
- The greatest amount was earned by the game “The Great Sultan“ (aka Game of Sultans) from Mechanic. Empires & Puzzles from Finnish Small Giant Games and publisher Zynga are in second place. The third was Gardenscapes from the Russian Playrix. By the way, right behind it comes Homescapes, which did not get into the top three from the same developer.
- In Russian downloads, the hyper-casual Color Bump 3D from Good Job Games became the leader. The second place is given to Homescapes. Next comes World of Wonders from Fugo Games.
- The most active Russian users are in Minecraft Pocket Edition from Microsoft, Homescapes and Brawl Stars from Supercell.

Top companies of 2019
- The most earning mobile publishers in Russia in 2019 are Playrix, Zynga and Aristocrat. The latter is an entertainment giant that owns Plarium and Big Fish Games.
- French Voodoo, Belarusian Say Games and Turkish Good Job Games have become leaders in downloads.
Recall: in a recent analysis of the mobile market from App Annie, global spending on games reached $86 billion. And in 2020, this figure may exceed $100 billion.
