Epic Games has released a new game. She looks like Asian buttlers
After four years of development, Epic Games has launched Battle Breakers, a two-dimensional battler in the spirit of Puzzle & Dragons. The project is available on PC and mobile platforms.
Battle Breakers
Battle Breakers is Epic Games’ first release since Fortnite was released in the summer of 2017. The novelty has been developed by a small internal team of the publisher almost since 2015.
The developers position it as “a turn-based strategic role-playing game in which the player collects and develops hundreds of heroes to create a dream team.” The latter fights monsters and bosses.
Conceptually, the game is very close to the box office Japanese hits from the mid-tenths. In the center is a meta with collecting heroes that differ in rarity and belonging to the elements.
The core gameplay at the same time resembles Dungelot. The player clicks on the field, meets enemies and kills them with taps. This part of the game is not complicated by additional mechanics, as, for example, was the case with Puzzle & Dragons and Monster Strike.
It was originally planned that the game would be released exclusively on the App Store and Google Play platforms. She was even in the softphone on both of them (from December 2016 on iOS and from February 2017 on the Play Store). However, as part of the worldwide release, it became available primarily on the desktop and mobile versions of the Epic Games Store.
Whether Battle Breakers will be removed from Google Play is unknown. Recall that the founder of Epic Games Tim Sweeney (Tim Sweeney) previously opposed this store. He was not satisfied with the economic model of the platform and the opportunity to buy a place in the search results on it.
According to App Annie, the game is currently available on Google Play only in six regions: Norway, Ireland, New Zealand, Australia, Finland and Sweden.
