Unity-developer at PlayVictory (Moscow)
The young PlayVictory studio is looking for an experienced Unity developer to join the staff. Not much is known about the studio itself yet. It is based in the Moscow City complex and is engaged in casual service games.
Tasks:
- development and support of mobile games on Unity;
- integration of third-party SDKs into Unity projects.
Requirements:
- excellent knowledge of C#;
- at least two years of commercial development experience on Unity;
- understanding the principles of client-server architecture, experience in developing multiplayer games;
- experience in developing applications for mobile platforms (iOS, Android);
- experience in writing game logic, optimizing games for mobile devices;
- interest in the gaming industry.
PlayVictory office in MoscowManagerial vacancy of the week:
Head of Game Design Department, Game Insight (Nizhny Novgorod)
Publisher and developer of mobile games Game Insight is looking for the head of the game design department in his studio in Nizhny Novgorod. The latter is currently operating two builders — The Tribez, whose mobile version celebrated its seventh birthday this year, and Trade Island, which was released last year.
Tasks:
- participate in the development of the studio’s game development strategy with the producers and the team;
- develop new features and content, analyze results;
- manage a team of 10 game designers, contribute to their development;
- monitor the quality of game design on projects (documentation, level design, balance, narrative, cut scenes, scripts, etc.);
- support and develop processes in the game design department;
- build interaction with other departments.
Requirements:
- experience working with casual games as a game designer or producer, understanding of the casual audience, knowledge of the mobile games market and trends;
- good gaming experience, love of games;
- experience in managing teams of 5 or more people.
Game Insight office in Nizhny NovgorodDesigner vacancy of the week:
Game Designer, Gaijin Entertainment (Moscow)
Moscow Gaijin Entertainment is looking for a game designer who is well—versed in the history of the Second World War and loves shooters. Founded in 2002, the company is a veteran of the Russian action and MMO games market. Its main blockbuster today is the multiplayer War Thunder, dedicated to the battles of military equipment of the middle of the last century.
Tasks:
- selection of potentially suitable content for the game;
- communication with historical consultants, drafting of technical specifications and acceptance of work;
- integration of content into the game, writing configs, setting parameters and pre-testing;
- consultation of artists on the reliability of models, search and collection of reference materials.
Requirements:
- in-depth knowledge on the subject of materiel, weapons and organizational and staff structure of infantry units of the WWII participating countries;
- English at the level that allows you to read literature on military subjects;
- get carried away with infantry shooters.
An additional advantage will be:
- similar work experience from 2 years;
- experience with version control systems: Git;
- knowledge of any scripting language;
- attentiveness.
