Bobby Kotick and Andrew Wilson entered the top American CEOs with exorbitant salaries

The rating of CEOs of American companies who receive excessive salaries includes Bobby Kotick from Activision and Andrew Wilson from Electronic Arts.

Bobby Kotick ended up in 45th place in the overall top of CEOs — and at the same time headed top managers with exorbitant salaries related to game rendezvous. His earnings are $28.7 million a year, which is $13 million more than expected and 306 times more than the average salary of an Activision employee.

Andrew Wilson, with a salary of $35.7 million a year, was in 98th place.

EA’s top manager is overpaid $19.6 million, while the average employee of the company receives 371 times less.

The rating is compiled by the non-profit foundation As You Sow.

The analysis was carried out taking into account the annual salary, dividends of shareholders, as well as the results of the shareholders’ vote for compensation to the CEO. The usual ratio between the salary of the CEO and an ordinary employee of the company is 142:1.

Let’s add that both Activision and EA have recently been making massive cuts. The first laid off 800 people as part of the restructuring, and the second reduced part of the staff of the Australian studio Firemonkeys.
