Goren has his own business in several other industries besides gaming.
After leaving Hi-Rez, he will be engaged in the implementation of machine learning technologies in medicine, as announced by the vice president of the company Stewart Chisam. By the way, he is Goren’s successor and the new CEO of Hi-Rez.
Erez and I have been planning this (reshuffle) since 2014. Now the company is in good shape, it is entering the next stage of growth, and we thought it was time to make changes (in management). Leaving the post of Hi-Rez CEO will allow Goren to ensure the success of his other companies.
New CEO Hi-Rez
Hi-Rez’s goals, according to Chisam’s assurances, will remain the same. The company wants to maintain its leadership in the market of free multiplayer games for all major platforms.
Erez Goren founded Hi-Rez together with Todd Harris in 2005. Six months ago, Hi-Rez opened three studios at once that deal with Smite, Paladins and Realm Royale titles.
