There was a lot of everything this year. Both good and bad. Sometimes even too much. I would like 2019 to be a little quieter.

How was the year for your company?

Good enough!

This year our game “Mi-mi-bears: Drawing” got on the demo devices of Apple stores, which is a very high assessment of the quality of the product.

We have increased the company’s revenue by more than 60% compared to last year.

And we have become more active in developing foreign markets. With the release of our brands in the world on such platforms as Netflix, this task has become much easier to solve.

What event of 2018 do you consider the most important for the industry

An attempt to break the hegemony of the platforms: alternative stores have appeared, offering better conditions than the main stores.

Also an important event is the publication of Fortnite on Android through its own website.

When a major player leaves the main store and at the same time shows fantastic financial indicators, this is a signal for other large companies. They say they can, too. At the same time, it is expected that the stores will react here. For example, they will improve conditions.

In general, next year it will be very interesting to see how this story will develop.

What trends of the outgoing year would you note?

The main trends in my opinion:

  • the transition of services to a subscription model (many gaming companies have already started experimenting with it, and we even launched cross app subscription on several of our applications, we believe that this is the future);
  • machine learning (tools for working in this area are being actively developed, this is also facilitated by Apple and Google, which are developing mechanisms for artificial intelligence to work without mandatory Internet access);
  • the rise of hyper-casual games and the growth of the market due to the new audience they attract.

What are the third-party projects of this year that you liked the most?

Mobile Fortnite has definitely become the main event of this year.
