The authors of Paladins will open three new studios
Hi-Rez Studios has announced the creation of three independent divisions: Titan Forge Games, Evil Mojo Games and Heroic Leap Games. Each studio will focus on its own project.
Titan Forge Games will develop and support the MOBA-thriller Smite, Evil Mojo Games will be responsible for the free—play heroic shooter Paladins, and Heroic Leap Games will work on Realm Royale – the latest Hi-Rez Studios title combining the mechanics of the “royal battle” and crafting.
“The creation of Titan Forge, Heroic Leap and Evil Mojo as independent studios will allow each of the development teams to maximize their potential and maintain high quality work, focusing only on the community of a particular project. We intend to support and update Hi-Rez Games for many years and want to let our developers focus on their work,” explained Chris Larson, general manager of Hi—Rez Studios.
According to Larson, the first step in creating studios will be the redistribution of full-time developers to project teams. After that, Hi-Rez Studios intend to increase the staff and hire new employees.
According to the social network LinkedIn, Hi-Rez Studios currently employs more than 350 people.
