Grand Theft Auto V is not the highest-grossing entertainment media product in history. The initial statement of the financial information and analytics site MarketWatch was incorrect. For comparison, the revenues of the role-playing MMO World of Warcraft by 2017 reached $ 10 billion — almost twice as much as the revenue of GTA V for all time.
