Mobile quiz with real cash prizes attracted $15 million
Mobile gaming platform HQ Trivia with quizzes and cash prizes received $15 million of investment. After the last investment round, the company’s value is estimated at $100 million.
HQ Trivia received most of the funding from the Founders Fund. Founders Fund partner Cyan Bannister has joined the Board of directors of HQ Trivia.
The creators of HQ Trivia intend to use the funds received to develop the project and promote the application in new regions. In addition, investments will increase cash prizes for winning the quiz.
HQ Trivia was released on iOS and Android in the second half of 2017. The project was created by the founders of the Vine video service, Colin Kroll (Colin Kroll) and Rus Yusupov (Rus Yusupov).
