Hasbro has withdrawn the "Transformers" games due to the end of the contract with Activision

Transformers games have disappeared from digital stores. The reason is the expiration of the deal between the franchise owner Hasbro and the publisher Activision.

As a result, a number of titles disappeared from Steam, PlayStation Store and Xbox Store, including titles such as Transformers: War for Cybertron, Fall of Cybertron and Transformers: Devastation.

Some “Transformers” games remain available. For example, Transformers: Earth Wars from the studio Space Ape.

Hasbro has not yet announced its plans for existing and future games in the Transformers universe.

Activision has been publishing games based on the famous robo-franchise since 2007, when the blockbuster Transformers, directed by Michael Bay, was released.

This is not the first such case in the history of Activision. In 2013, the publisher withdrew a number of James Bond titles from stores due to the loss of the license, and last year it was forced to withdraw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles games from sale.
