Magic Leap raises $502 million investment
The “augmented reality” startup Magic Leap raised $502 million in the investment round of the “D” series.
The leading investor was Asia’s largest investment company Temasek, owned by the Singapore government.
In addition, the startup was funded for the first time by EDBI, Grupo Glob and Janus Henderson Investors. In addition to them, Google and Alibaba contributed, having previously allocated funds for the development of the project.
With the latest cash receipts, the total investment in Magic Leap has exceeded $2 billion.
Recall that earlier this week it became known that Magic Leap intends to earn $ 1 billion on the sale of shares of the company.
