Ubisoft to open two new studios in Europe
Ubisoft has announced the opening of offices in Bordeaux, France, and Berlin, the capital of Germany.
Both studios will employ at least 100 employees by the end of the first year of operation.
Ubisoft now has five studios in France and three in Germany. In total, the company has 35 studios around the world.
Ubisoft Bordeaux will interact with studios in Annecy, Lyon, Montpellier and Paris. They develop and support such titles as Just Dance, Steep and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands.
Ubisoft Berlin will collaborate with two Blue Byte studios in Dusseldorf and Mainz, responsible for the Anno and The Settlers series.
The new European branches will participate in the development of “AAA projects for the largest Ubisoft franchises,” the publisher said in a statement.
