1 million physical copies of Rocket League have been sold worldwide
Psyonix company announced the sale of 1 million boxes with the game Rocket League.
The physical version of the game was released last summer. The publisher of the “boxed version” of Rocket League was the company 505 Games, which previously gave material embodiment to such titles as Terraria and Stardust Valley.
A million copies is only 1/10 of the total sales of the game, which sold 10.5 million units. More than 9.5 million copies were sold through Steam and Xbox Live.
Psyonix noted that some of the owners of the digital version of Rocket League also purchased the physical version, but most of the owners of “analog” copies registered in the game for the first time.
