Korean gamers spend 46 minutes a day playing mobile games
Mobile device users in South Korea mostly play on them for 46 minutes a day.
South Korean mobile gamers play two or more games every day. The most popular mobile titles here are Lineage 2: Revolution, Clash Royale and Pokemon Go.
South Korean users spend a little less time on messengers and watching videos: about 35 minutes a day on Kakao Talk, and about 25 minutes on videos in the YouTube app.
Interestingly, the situation in the USA is the opposite: video sharing and correspondence in messengers occupy American teenagers more than games.
The survey of the WiseApp marketing platform involved approximately 25 thousand smartphone users using Google’s Android platform, which employs about 80% of South Korean smartphones.
The researchers did not specify which mobile devices the survey participants used.
