King is working on a mobile Call of Duty
The authors of Candy Crush Saga announced the formation of a new team in Stockholm (Sweden) and announced that it will create a mobile Call of Duty.
The new team plans to recreate the “authentic gaming experience” of the series in the project, but at the same time make sure that the game is perceived “fresh, as well as social and very accessible.”
King is just about to start prototyping and is looking for employees in a new team: art director, level editor, system designer and lead designer for UX/UI.
King plans to work on the project under the direct supervision of Activision Blizzard, which owns both the company and a series of shooters.
The Stockholm studio King, within which the new team will work, was the first studio of the “candy” giant. It was formed in 2003. It was within its walls that the main hit of King – Candy Crush Saga was developed.
