Game of War developers have presented an open data aggregator
MZ (formerly Machine Zone) has launched Satori, an open data aggregator. It systematizes information from all over the Internet and provides it to developers.
There are many types of open data: RSS feeds, weather reports, traffic information, and so on. With the help of Satori, MZ intends to organize this information and share it with developers so that they use it in projects.
Open data is in chaos today. Unstructured information is stored on thousands of sites, making it difficult to realize the full potential of public data.
CEO of MZ
MZ plans to develop network data collection technology as a platform of wide application.
Last year, the company reported that using a network algorithm, it was possible to increase the efficiency of New Zealand’s public transport system. To do this, they used a program to select match participants in online games.
To attract developers to the project, the company is holding a competition with a prize fund of $1 million for “The most efficient open data channel we have ever seen.”
Machine Zone is also known as the creator of the mobile hits Game of War: Fire Age and Mobile Strike.
