The players forced Ubisoft to make edits to For Honor by threatening a boycott
Thousands of gamers have promised to leave the online slasher For Honor if its developer Ubisoft does not respond to their complaints. After that, the company satisfied some of the requirements in the new patch.
Players were unhappy with the quality of the connection, unbalanced characters and failures in the combat system. In addition, Ubisoft was criticized for high prices for game content and small rewards in game currency, which forced gamers to either spend a lot of time in the game or resort to donating.
On March 30, Ubisoft increased the amount of game currency received for matches by 25%. Previously deleted cards have returned to the game, and 12 new costumes have also appeared. Ubisoft reported that the fixes were planned before the boycott threat.
A petition about the intention to boycott For Honor for a day on April 3 appeared on Reddit on March 29, it was supported by more than 12 thousand people. The initiator of the petition under the nickname Jbaayoun noted that he was glad that the patch was released, but it does not solve all the problems existing in the game. Therefore, the boycott may still take place.
