“The Witcher 3” earned $250 million in a year and a half
For a year and a half of sales, the Witcher 3 game brought the creators 1 billion Polish zloty ($ 253 million). CD Project Group presented these and other data in the financial report for 2016.
In 2016, CD Project earned more than $210 million. Game sales brought the company $148 million, and the work of the online store GOG.com — another $62 million.
Excellent financial results over the past two years allow us to implement new ambitious plans and expand our company. The key projects now are Cyberpunk 2077 and GWENT: The Witcher Card Game.

CD Project President Adam Kiciński added that 2017 will be the year of Gwint, a Witcher card game. Now the company is preparing the first major tournament with a prize pool of $ 100 thousand.
Since the release of the first part of The Witcher trilogy, more than 25 million copies of The Witcher games have been sold worldwide.
