Bandai Namco turns West
After the international success of Witcher 3 and Dark Souls III, the Japanese publisher Bandai Namco announced a desire to entrust more projects to European studios.
We are talking about both AAA-class games and small indie creations.
“If we are talking about Little Nightmares, Get Even, Impact Winter and others, then yes, we will focus on games from European developers and cooperation with new Western studios to publish more really cool projects,” said Lee Kirton, PR director of the British branch of Bandai Namco.
He added that the works of many European game developers are well developed, they have cool plots and innovative solutions in game design.
Despite the new strategy, Bandai Namco does not weaken support for its Japanese game series: Tekken, Ace Combat, Dark Souls, Ni no Kuni, and others.
