Flaregames announced the launch of a business incubator for developers

The German publisher of mobile games Flaregames announced the creation of a new incubator program Flare Accelerator.

Within a year and a half, the company plans to invest €20 million in new mobile developers who need to prove the viability of the “free-to-play” model of their games at the medium and late stages of readiness.

Along with funding, Flaregames will share its experience with developers to evaluate and improve the long-term potential of their works. The publisher also promises to allocate significant funds for marketing promotion, which, in addition to initial financing, will accelerate the release of games to the market.

“The abundance of offers on the mobile app market is beneficial to publishers, but it puts developers at a disadvantage. By helping to test the market viability of their games and identifying problems at an early stage, we enable developers to focus on what they do best — to bring joy and an exciting experience,” said Fraser Maclnnes, head of investment management at Flaregames.

Previously, the German publisher worked with games such as Kopla Games’ Nonstop Knight, which reached seven million downloads five months after its release.
