The campaign to finance the continuation of the best RPG of 2015 (according to The Game Awards) attracted the maximum number of backers in the two-year history of the service.

This is the last time a notable game project has managed to raise significant funds through crowdfunding on Fig. The post-apocalyptic role-playing game Wasteland 3 developed by the inXile team scored $ 3.1 million, and the Psychonauts 2 platformer from the Double Fine studio received support in the amount of $ 3.8 million.

The first part of Pillars of Eternity in 2012 raised $4 million through crowdfunding, becoming at that time the most successful project of the Kickstarter platform.
