The authors of Hill Climb Racing founded a gaming incubator on 5,000 square meters

In the center of the Finnish city of Oulu, Fingersoft has launched the Oulu Game Campus, a giant incubator that will collect everything necessary for the development of gaming teams and their creation of projects.

Fingersoft invested the money earned from Hill Climb Racing in the development of the gaming industry of its country. The company spent €3.8 million to create the Oulu Game Campus game incubator. Another €1 million will be spent on its development this year

The incubator is seven buildings in the center of the IT capital of Finland – Oulu. The total area is 5000 square meters, where Finnish game developers will work together, but not only.

Oulu Game Campus is designed to concentrate in one place all the institutions necessary for game developers, create a single ecosystem, providing access to experts, venture angels, services and education.

Already, the business building and the office of Fingersoft itself are working within the complex.

Oulu Game Campus was launched with the participation of two Finnish universities – the University of Oulu and the University of Applied Sciences of Oulu.

The official opening of the complex is scheduled for May 2017.
