Cookie Jam authors earn $400 million a year and are going to conduct an IPO
The developers of the hit three-in-a-row from Jam City earn $400 million a year on their projects. In 2017, they plan to enter the stock market.
Chris DeWolfe, CEO of the company, told Bloomberg about this in an interview.
He also shared plans to launch a new project – Snoopy Pop, which is created based on the Peanuts comic book (also known in Russia as “Little Potbellied”) and enter the Asian market.
Devulf mentioned that the number of paying players in one of the main hits of the company – Panda Pop – is 8%.
Jam City was previously called SGN. She specializes in projects in the three-in-a-row genre. Among her most famous games are Cookie Jam. It is consistently in the box office Top 50 in the United States.

Last July, Jam City acquired the authors of Tiny Monsters, Marvel Avengers Academy and Family Guy: The Quest for Stuff – TinyCo.
In 2016, the company also received an investment of $130 million from Netmarble. Seven years ago, the company received $28 million for development.
Chris Dewulf is the co-creator of the MySpace social network, which he sold in 2003 with his partner for $580 million.
