The head of the Kiev office leaves Playrix for his own startup
Tanya Evdokimenko, who headed the Playrix office in Kiev, announced her departure from the company. Evdokimenko launches his own consulting firm.
Tanya is launching her own consulting firm, within which she plans to develop two areas.
The first is to help companies build and debug recruiting, HR and studio promotion processes.
From Tanya’s point of view, the sphere of recruiting and personnel management in the CIS gaming industry is a great field for development. Historically, the focus of game development companies has been on the product, and employers often cannot invest time and effort to work with personnel. Tanya believes that people are first and foremost behind any successful project.
The second direction of the new company is to help specialists who want to get into the gaming industry, advice on changing jobs or development within the current company.
“Graduates of higher educational institutions do not know that, for example, if you have a linguistic education, then you can get a job as a community manager, and there are not enough people with a mathematical background among traffic managers,” Evdokimenko noted.
Evdokimenko sees another of his tasks as changing attitudes towards recruiting and personnel management.
The gaming industry has grown, and with it the requirements for HR specialists are changing. Now it should be not just a “good girl”, but a professional who understands the company’s product, the stages of its development and has the knowledge to build effective processes at the strategy level.
Tanya plans to cooperate with recruiting agencies, conferences, job portals, educational courses, universities and other partners.
“I already have my first clients, in cooperation with whom an offer for the market will be formed. The main idea is to help good people work in good companies,” she shared Evdokimenko.
