The game disappeared from the news headlines by the end of August, which did not prevent Pokémon GO from remaining the highest-grossing app in the world for the second month in a row. By the end of September, the project is likely to shift several positions down, but a very sharp decline in indicators (by dozens of positions) is not expected.

The game on September 27 is included on iOS (iPhone) in the total box office Top 5 in 59 regions of the world out of 84 where it was released. For example, in the UK and Canada, he is still in first place in terms of income, and in the US in third.

On Google Play, the game was released in 81 countries. In 54 of them, Pokémon GO (as of September 27) is included in the total box office five, including both English-speaking regions and such large markets as Germany and France.

Most likely, according to the results of the current month, the game will either drop by one position, giving way to Monster Strike, or it will be in 3-4 place, missing out on such box office giants as Mobile Strike and Game of War – Fire Age.

The CEO of Niantic, the developer and publisher of Pokémon GO, John Hanke, noted that now the situation inside the company has stabilized a little after two crazy months. Now the team can take a more meaningful approach to product development.

Updates to Pokémon GO are released on both platforms every week.
