Max Payne’s birthday, a new Sega console and a drop in Apple Watch sales are in our digest for today.

This weekend, the main noir game turned 15 years old. On July 23, 2001, the first part of Max Payne, a third-person shooter about a policeman avenging the murder of his family, was released on the shelves of North America. A good reason to go through the game once again.

Sega has announced plans to release a retro Mega Drive console and its portable counterpart. The Japanese company decided to coincide the launch of the devices with the 25th anniversary of the Sonic the Hedgehog series. The first part of the game was released in North America on June 23, 1991 and on July 26 of the same year in Japan. Deliveries of devices that will support the original cartridges will start in October. The Chinese company At Games is responsible for their production. The price of both gadgets starts at $65.

Apple Watch sales in the second quarter of 2016 fell by 55% compared to the same period a year earlier. Sales of “smart watches” in the whole market fell by 32%.
