The analytical company GameAnalytics is being bought by the Chinese, a Disney three-in-a-row with emojis has been launched, and Batman: Arkham Underworld has appeared on iOS.
1.
The game publishing house and analytical company GameAnalytics is acquired by the Chinese firm Mobvista. The price is not called. In February, the Chinese bought a large American advertising platform Native X. Then the value of the transaction was $25 million. The ultimate goal of the Chinese company is to create not just a global advertising grid, but an advertising ecosystem. “The purchase of GameAnalytics in Europe, just like the acquisition of Native X in the United States, will help us quickly create a multidimensional global ecosystem of mobile traffic,” Robin Duan, CEO of Mobvista, commented on the deal.
2.
Disney has released a match-3 called Disney Emoji Blitz (Android and iOS versions – by links). The player is offered to move and match emojis – stylized muzzles of Disney characters with different emotions. Depending on how successful the game is, facial expressions change. In general, the project is very similar to another game of the same genre that Disney launched together with LINE – Disney Tsum Tsum (the title reached the milestone of 60 million downloads in June). What distinguishes Disney Emoji Blitz from this project is the time limit in each round. Which, we recall, can scare away the audience of the three-in-a-row genre.
3.
The Batman: Arkham Underworld strategy from Warner Bros. publisher has been launched on iOS. Interactive Entertainment and developer Turbine. The title, we recall, offers the user to build a criminal empire in Gotham, for which you need to create a shelter and assemble an army of villains from DC comics. The game has been in softlonch since May of this year.
