A promo video of the hardcore 2D platformer Splasher was released, an interactive graphic novel Out There Chronicles appeared in the stores, and the Pokemon Go title was launched in America (and will be released in Europe soon).
1. A gameplay video of the Splasher game from the Splashteam team appeared. This is a hardcore 2D platformer that reminded us of King of Thieves from Zeptolab. Details about the game will be announced at the Gamescom conference in August. However, it is known that the title will be released on PC, PS4 and Xbox One in early 2017. The title promises to be interesting – the project has already won a prize in the nomination “The most anticipated game” at the French festival Stunfest.
2. The release of the interactive graphic novel Out There Chronicles by the Mi-Clos Studio team took place. Recall that the title is a kind of sequel to the space simulator Out There. The game takes place a thousand years before the events of the first project. The script for the game in both cases was written by the same author – FibreTigre. Here is a link to Android, and here – to the iOS version.
3. Pokemon Go has finally appeared in Western stores. The title was released in North America, Australia and New Zealand. In the near future, the authors of the project, Nintendo and Niantic studio, promise a release in Europe and Canada. Recall that the Pokemon franchise game includes elements of augmented reality. The user moves from place to place in the real world and uses the smartphone screen to catch Pokemon.
