This Tuesday, Netmarble, which is a daughter of the food conglomerate CJ Group, filed an agreement of intent to acquire Playtika from Caesars Entertainment Corporation, which manages more than 50 real casinos and hotels.

Netmarble, known in the west for MARVEL Future Fight, is ready to pay from $3.4 billion to $4.3 billion for the authors of Slotomania Casino and Casino Caesars Slots, – reports Calvin Ayre with reference to Korea Economic Daily.

Earlier, Caesars Entertainment Corporation had already expressed a desire to sell its interactive division – Caesars Interactive Entertainment, which includes Playtika, online gambling services and the World Series of Poker brand for just $4 billion due to the economic difficulties of the parent company. But according to the Korean press, Netmarble is only interested in Playtika.

The income of the latter at the end of 2015 amounted to $ 725 million. According to forecasts, this year the studio may well earn $ 900 million. In 2011, Playtika was acquired by Caesars for an amount in the region of $80-90 million.

Netmarble’s revenue last year was $868 million. Most of the company’s revenue comes from the Asian Games.
